Subject: Industry Skillset development program in collaboration with Altair Software under the scope of MoU exchanged between AKTU and Altair on 11 June 2025
Dear Sir/Ma’am
We are pleased to inform you that Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Altair to contribute industry skill set among AKTU students thereby preparing them to excel in today’s dynamic industrial ecosystem.
Altair https://altair.com is a global leader in providing cutting-edge solutions addressing key industry trends such as Electrification (EV), Drones, Digital Twin technology, Data Transformation, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM), Electromagnetics, Motor Design, Smart Product Development, and lightweight engineering, among others.
Through this partnership, students from all branches of engineering will gain access to comprehensive software solutions and technologies relevant to their disciplines, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet future industry challenges.
In line with this vision, AKTU aims to strengthen the laboratory software facilities, support incubated startups, and enhance the research capabilities of its affiliated institutions by leveraging Altair’s advanced simulation and data analytics software.
AKTU invites nominations from its affiliated colleges to take advantage of this unique opportunity. We plan to extend this initiative to 10 interested colleges, who would be nominated as NODAL CENTERS, kindly show their interest through the below given Google Form Link:-

furthermore, the selected institutions will have the privilege of installing and utilizing Altair’s commercial-grade software in their laboratories, thereby supporting both academic and research activities in emerging technology domains.
Interested colleges are requested to submit their nominations to AKTU, clearly outlining their readiness for software installation & support in the following areas:
- Availability of Network Lab consisting with 25 computer systems with the following specifications
Win64 System with Minimum 2GB Graphics Card, 8 GB RAM (Bare minimum) to train the students on the following softwares:-
